About Me
I have worked in Japan as a dedicated editor and translator, both as a full-time employee and now as a freelancer for over three decades. I've served some of the biggest and best domestic Japanese and global firms. Although I can’t share most of what I’ve done over the years due to non-disclosure agreements, here is a summary of my background, certifications, associations and memberships, and samples that can be shared with the general public.
MY BACKGROUND
- Featured in Keyboard Magazine’s “Discoveries” in January 1986
- Graduated from Grove School of Music (formerly in Van Nuys, CA) in 1989
- Worked as a digital sound designer and production assistant for Prosonus in North Hollywood, CA from 1990 to 1992
- Began work on musical instrument manual translation and editing for Ishida Taiseisha in Hamamatsu, Japan on November 1993
- Began freelance translation and editing business on July 2012
- Produced and released several original music projects from 2021
